Smithers Animal Hospital-Lincoln is a privately owned, full-service mixed animal facility staffed by a team of animal lovers. Our philosophy is to care for all pets as if they were ours, giving them all the love, attention, and care that they deserve.
To help us maintain the highest standard of care, Dr. Smithers and our hospital staff attend continuing education opportunities regularly.

Dr. Bridger Smithers, DVM, is the owner of Smithers Animal Hospital. An LSU School of Veterinary Medicine graduate (2015), he founded the West Fork hospital in 2017 and bought Lincoln Animal Hospital in 2023.

Dr. Bridger Smithers was born and raised in Atlanta, Texas. His love for animals developed early in life and by the age of seven he knew he wanted to be a veterinarian like his father, Dr. Mark Smithers.
Fast forward to 2015 when Dr. Smithers graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Following graduation, he began his career practicing medicine in a busy 5-doctor, mixed-animal clinic in northeast Texas. In 2017, he moved to Arkansas and established Smithers Animal Hospital in West Fork. In 2023 he bought Lincoln Animal Hospital and began renovating it.
Dr. Smithers has generational roots in Arkansas and was eager for the opportunity to serve the northwest region of the state. He and his wife, Andrea, and son, Ezra, enjoy being part of the community. Their pet family includes two beautiful cats, Jack and Mosby, and one dog, Cruz, that hang out at the hospital every day. Cruz is a two-year-old malti-poo that is fun and loving and serves as the mascot of Smithers Animal Hospital.

Dr. Stan Mosley, DVM, is a central Arkansas native and 2023 graduate of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine who joined the team after externing at Smithers Animal Hospital.

Dr. Stan Mosley was born and raised in central Arkansas. After achieving his Bachelors of Science, Dr. Mosley worked with an emergency and specialty practice in Little Rock as the practice manager for several years. During this time, he was led to apply to veterinary school.
In 2023, he graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Mosley externed with SAH as a fourth year resident before coming to work with us after graduation. He, his wife and children enjoy living in NWA and routinely attend community events.
About our practice
In 2023 Dr. Smithers bought Lincoln Animal Hospital and began renovating it, joining Smithers Animal Hospital in West Fork. Today we care for pets and large animals from Lincoln, Prairie Grove, Farmington, Summers and beyond.
It is our goal at Smithers Animal Hospital-Lincoln to provide our patients with the very best veterinary care, and we do our best to ensure that you and your pets feel comfortable whenever you visit our office.
We want to give your pets the healthiest life possible, and we know that the best way to do that is to partner with you throughout your pet’s life journey.
Since 2017, Dr. Smithers has worked closely with the Lester C. Howick Animal Shelter to help with animal population control. Each year, he spays and neuters more than 300 dogs and cats.
