Boarding in Lincoln, AR

Welcome to Smithers Animal Hospital-Lincoln, where pet parents who prefer veterinary supervision can count on a healthy, happy, comfortable stay for their dogs and cats while they’re out of town.

Understanding Boarding at an Animal Hospital

Many pet owners struggle to find dependable care for their dogs and cats when they have to travel. Boarding at an animal hospital gives you a caring team to look after your pet day to day, with a veterinarian close at hand if anything seems off.

We offer dogs and cats indoor, climate-controlled boarding kennels in separate areas so that all visitors have a pleasant, stress-free stay. Our kennels can support large dogs as well as small dogs, and each boarding cat gets its own kitty condo with a perch ledge.

Our caring staff members spend lots of quality time with each pet, and we take dogs on walks in our large fenced yard three times a day. If you live in the Lincoln area and need boarding services you can trust, give us a call for more information, or come by and check us out.

What to Expect When Your Pet Boards With Us

From drop-off to pickup, here’s how we care for every dog and cat staying with us:

Dog Boarding

Dogs stay in indoor, climate-controlled kennels sized for large and small dogs, with walks in our large fenced yard three times a day and plenty of quality time with our staff.

Cat Boarding

Cats board in an area separate from the dogs, and each one gets its own kitty condo with a perch ledge for a quiet, comfortable stay.

Meals, Medications and Health Monitoring

Because a sudden change in diet can cause digestive upset, we provide all guests with Purina EN, a nutritionally balanced food for sensitive stomachs, unless you bring your pet’s own food from home. We also administer medications and special diets when needed. Our staff monitors the appetite and urination and bowel movements of each canine and feline guest, and our veterinarian will be alerted if any problems are noted.

Bathing and Grooming Add-ons

After an extended stay, we recommend a bath so your pet goes home fresh and clean. We offer routine bathing, plus therapeutic bathing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression. Please let us know if you’d like your pet bathed when you make your boarding reservation.
